Great post.

I think a personal blog is great. It gives the blogger the control and freedom to write down whatever he wants. As long as the content is unique and helpful, you should go for it.

Thanks for the list of reasons why one shld and shldnt have a personal blog. Personally I am of the school of thought that one shld maintain a personal blog not just for making money (seriously, not all can do that) but to keep a daily/weekly/monthly journal of insights and experiences.
