The Unstrapp’d List of 30 Young Entrepreneurs of 2009

With 2009 coming to an end, bloggers are looking back at the best of the best and showing their appreciation for everything that has been accomplished in the year. I received an email this morning from a pretty well respected guy, Bradley Will. Turns out, I was included in his list of the top 30 young entrepreneur blogs of 2009. Not a bad way to start my day.

But seriously, what wakes you up better in the morning than receiving news you have been awarded something that a guy like Neil Patel or Zac Johnson have been? I’m pretty honored to be included in this list, and to me, it tells me that maybe I’m actually making an impact in this world of young entrepreneurship.

This blog, even though it’s targeted for young entrepreneurs isn’t what I am most known for. You probably know of my other blog, my much more active blog — Blogussion. That’s what you think of when you hear my name online I bet, and that is what blog represented me as a top young entrepreneur in the list by Unstrapp’d.

So go ahead and check out that list. I found a lot of great blogs over there, and I guarantee that if you read this blog, you will have an interest in the other blogs there as they are all ran by young entrepreneurs.

I just wanted to share this article with you guys. Stick around for Thesis Thursday on, you guess it — Thursday as well as a post where I want all of you guys to share your accomplishments in 2009. Get your lists ready folks, see you Thursday!

It’s great to see you having completed so much at your age! I’m only 18 and I’m still behind in your internet marketing skills, but I’m marketing my sites every day and slowly building up a vast network.

Congratulation I wish I would have been that forth sighted at your age, of course at that time there was no internet (:

I am wondering when the youth from non English speaking countries, will start with something like this? I speak a few languages, but it is only in the English speaking community you can find young bloggers like you.

Hey Alex,

I don’t want to take anything away from you getting the award, but have you considered that they wrote the list simply for link bait / traffic? Again the list includes good resources so it’s not like the aware was not something you didn’t deserve (I believe you did).

But if you look at the article it has 10 times as many retweets as any other article on that blog and many more links as well.

Thoughts?

Hey Chris,

Isn’t that the purpose of every article? To bring in traffic to a blog?

But whatever their intention was — the article brought traffic and readers to MY site. :D That’s all I worried about honestly!
