Func­tion Overview

This footer is a per­fect replica of the footer you see here at the bot­tom of Asnio. I have received numer­ous com­ments from peo­ple telling me how much they love the look of my footer here, so I feel like this will be a great free­bie for you guys. A lit­tle back­ground on this footer:

• It is com­pletely wid­getized - Don’t you hate hav­ing to open up your text edi­tor to edit some­thing? Wid­gets are the future, and I remem­bered that while design­ing this footer. Edit all four columns straight from the Wid­gets panel flawlessly.
• Only Com­pat­i­ble with The­sis - Sorry all of you non-Thesis weirdos! This footer only works with The­sis out of the box. It’s sim­ple to con­vert to non-Thesis themes how­ever, and if I get enough requests for it — I’ll con­vert it.
• Wid­get Code From - I found a tuto­r­ial for cre­at­ing a wid­getized footer for The­sis off of FergusWeb.net. I mod­i­fied the code by adding an extra wid­get sec­tion, and com­pletely revamped the CSS code.
• Remem­ber - Some of the cus­tomiza­tions I have made into my footer func­tion on this domain will be dif­fer­ent. For exam­ple, if you used the Recent Com­ments plu­gin, you will not get the same result as I have here. You will need to edit your own style sheets and HTML markup for sim­i­lar styling.
• Sup­port - I will sup­port this func­tion, but please refer to footer_function.php and footer_css.css in the down­load files for instruc­tions on where to put the codes.

Don’t touch that copy­right!
My only request when you down­load this func­tion is to keep the copy­right notice in tact. It’s not much to ask for, and it can fit beau­ti­fully next to the The­sis copy­right. I will allow you to remove it under one con­di­tion, but it will cost you. If you want to remove it, send me an email. It will cost $5 to remove. Oth­er­wise, please do not under any cir­cum­stances remove the copy­right from the footer.
